Our Focus On Agriculture

In order to address the imminent food security issues affecting Africa, agricultural education and implementation has become a critical component of any government strategy. However, with limitations in government resources, it is critical for the government, private sector and non-profit organizations to join hands in the fight against hunger and food shortages continentally.

Our organization’s footprint is both local, provincial and national in South Africa, and our aim is to reach all the 54 nations of the African continent by 2030. At C-DEZ Foundation, we empower our learners with intense agricultural technologies that will not only improve their agricultural skills, but also contribute to a faster mass production of our products.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

C – DEZ Foundation seeks to collaborate with already existing organizations within the agricultural space up to United Nations (UN) level, in order to train and empower communities to be both self-reliant in terms of food supply as well as to address multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2, which focuses on ending hunger and promoting sustainable agriculture.

It also significantly impacts other goals like poverty reduction (SDG 1), good health and well-being (SDG 3), and climate action (SDG 13).

C-DEZ Foundation takes a more detailed look at how agriculture relates to the SDGs:
